Posing with Boni Ilagan, director and multi-awarded scriptwriter. Aside from being a part of KODAO, Ka Boni is also a member of the First Quarter Storm movement and a political detainee during the Marcos and Aquino Regimes.
It has been a week since we in KODAO Productions and colleagues from the Computer Professionals Union came to Cebu to facilitate the successful AOM 2.0 workshop on new media, digital activism, and filmmaking. Mary Joyce and Lynn Casper of DigiActive joined and helped us with AOM 2.0. The workshop’s success can be attributed with the participation of organizations from all over the country and the generosity of the institutions and people’s organizations in Cebu.
Read more about the three-day AOM 2.0 workshop at the KODAO Productions website.
Two days have already passed since the conclusion of AOM 2.0 and our team is still in Cebu. We will be staying for yet another week to facilitate a more intimate workshop on filmmaking and video production.
With everything in rush and everyone around in a hurry, the only thing I can update my blog with right now are links to Facebook photo albums of my err.. hourly documentation of AOM 2.0 and KODAO’s Cebu trip.
