Filipino-American Black Eyed Peas band member Allan Pineda Lindo, a.k.a. Apl.de.ap promotes the Philippines in a song and music video created jointly with the Department of Tourism. “Take U to the Philippines” started airing in MTV Asia last October 1, 2009. He was born to a Filipino mother and American father in the Angeles City, Pampanga.
