“Tinimbang Ka Ngunit Kulang” (You Were Weighed But Found Wanting) is a story of a teenager growing up in a small town amid its petty and gross injustices. Directed by Lino Brocka and written by Mario O’Hara in 1974, the film garnered six FAMAS awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Christopher de Leon), Best Actress (Lolita Rodriguez).
