This year, Software Freedom Day will be hosted by the University of Santo Tomas. A successful workshop on “New Media”

It has been a week since we in KODAO Productions and colleagues from the Computer Professionals Union came to Cebu to facilitate the successful AOM 2.0 workshop on new media, digital activism, and filmmaking. Mary Joyce and Lynn Casper of DigiActive joined and helped us with AOM 2.0. The workshop’s success can be attributed with the participation of organizations from all over the country and the generosity of the institutions and people’s organizations in Cebu.
