New Monster Attributes

A while ago while playing in PW-Phils’ Serpent server, I noticed a new attribute “Increased Mspd”  in some level 90+ monsters. By observation, you can deduce that the said attribute refers to an increase in the monster’s movement speed. One of the changes brought about probably by the second Shen Wu patch.

Finally, Perfect World Philippines’ servers are now up and running after the extended maintenance.

I’m happy to note that aside from the usual item mall updates and new in-game lottery box – the Holy Moon lottery box, the Daily Attendance Quest and dialogue boxes of the Heavenly Goods NPC can now be read in english according to GM Shiro’s post. Will still have to see for myself in a short while.

Crafted my first Perfect Emblem

Just moments ago while online in Perfect World Philippines, nakapagcraft ako ng Perfect Emblem ring gamit ang 30 pieces ng signed attendance chart. Ok ang stats pero dahil level 90 na ang TatayK character ko hindi ko na mapapakinabangan ang Perfect Emblem dahil malaki na ang difference ng stat nito sa mga magic rings para sa level ko. Plus super na ang statistics ng existing magic rings na gamit ko.

Pero the good thing is, level 50 lang ang requirement para makapag-craft at makagamit ng Perfect Emblem ring. Walang crafting skill needed at walang ibang material na kailangan para sa crafting ng Perfect Emblem ring kundi attendance chart. Merong atk and matk versions ang mga rings na maka-craft mo sa Attendance Officer (552, 651 altitude 27).

Just like the attendance chart, ‘di pwede mai-trade or mai-drop ang na craft mo na ring. Para sa detalye kung paano makapagcraft ng Perfect Emblem at kung pano makakakuha ng attendance sheet, pakibrowse nalang ang guide na ginawa sa Janelh at ang post ni GM Shiro sa PW-Phils message board.

Nope. Not really a review. Much more of a story of my first 16 hours of ZX. Not a straight 16 hours though. A staggered play of ZX for four hours a day since the start of the closed-beta.

Boxed Quest from General Xia Feng

A lot of PW-Phils players are posting in the Levelup boards questions regarding the boxed quests you receive from General Xia Feng. Luckilly after changing the PW-Phils font we are able to view these boxed characters in chinese.

Tanking the SSK

With the help of guild members Omm3h, pm, and Ambisyoso, I was able to successfully tank the Seven Sea King just 2 hours ago. Of course, TatayK died once. Was resurrected by Omm3h and tried tanking the SSK for the second time. Ambi provided logistics while Omm3h and pm constantly healed my character as I constantly cast my magic skills upon the siokoy king. pm also did cast occasional dispelling of the siokoy king’s mana burning curse.

As a note, our party is composed of Omm3h – a level 62 Yu Ling, pm – a level 55 Yu Ling, Ambi – a level 60 Yao Shou, and my TatayK – a level 72 Fa Shih.

The siokoy king was Omm3h and Ambi’s boss quest.

Wei Xiaobao’s Crisis, Soulless Reports and the FONT related solution

Most PW-Phils users are unable to complete the Wei Xiabao’s Crisis quest simply because of a character spacing problem. This problem is manifested in the answer options presented by Princess Jian Ning. The correct answer when confronting the Princess is the third option. However due to PW-Phils client double-spacing problem brought about by the recent patches, we are unable to read and click the third option. There is no scroll bar either.

Still new, still writing too.

Just like the game, the Serpent server and TatayK, this blog’s still new. With articles still in the process of writing and with screenshots still in the process of collecting. Mostly of course from TatayK’s piktyur-piktyur sessions with guild mates, friends, and quest partymates.

I usually hover the Serpent server after dinner. And mostly away while vending at Dragon City West during the day.

TatayK is also testing the waters of ZX PH. You can find me at ZXOnline’s closed-beta as CBTatayK.
