A tribute to a decade of serving the people

ST4P

This year, we are celebrating Agham and Agham-Youth’s ten years of making science and technology serve the people. As a tribute to a decade of struggle and service, I’ve uploaded and collected in a YouTube playlist the thematic (and classic) short videos of Agham and Agham-Youth since 1999. Click here to reminisce and strengthen your commitment.

Reposting from Marjorie Pamintuan’s column in the Manila Times, SciPop: Popularizing Science. Marj is a member and an officer of Agham-Youth, an organization of advocates of science and technology for the people. Of course, I’m proud to be one of the founders of Agham-Youth.

Prometheus Bound, bloopers edition

Prometheus Bound (click here for the documentary), a documentary about the state of science and technology in the Philippines, was produced by Agham (Advocates of Science and Technology for the People) and the Science for Society Program of the College of Science, University of the Philippines Diliman. Overhauling the original concept, it was jointly written and directed by me, Natalie Pulvinar, and Prof. Gani Tapang. Weng Castillo was our very helpful production assistant.

This by the way, is the bloopers version. Hehe!
