With his first post having the all-caps title “GREETINGS TO THE WEB FROM A LO-TECH GUY”, journalist Ed Lingao finally joined the blogosphere.

Though Ed Lingao advice his blog readers not to expect regular posts of “musings for everyone to read”, his blog gives us a sneak preview of the book “Correspondent” that he is writing. Reading from the posts, the book he’s writing is about his experience in two decades of journalism.

Ed Lingao, together with Val Cuenca were the reporters in the award-winning documentary “Baghdad Diaries” of ABS-CBN’s Correspondents about the US war in Iraq in 2003. Other noted documentaries of Ed Lingao was Correspondents’ “Kasama” about Ka Roger and the CPP-NPA in the Cordillera Region, and a documentary about the NPA in the bicol region shown in ABC5’s Frontlines.

He is also in this classic (and famous) photo taken during the 1986 EDSA People Power.
